This policy explains how Trasor handles personal data. We design for privacy from the start: we collect the minimum data a feature needs, give it a defined retention period, and make your rights easy to exercise. It is written in plain language, and the practices it describes reflect how the platform actually handles your data.

Data we process

• Account data — the information needed to create and secure your account.
• Professional Record data — the skills, work, education, assessments, and evidence you add, plus any sharing and consent settings.
• Usage & device data — limited technical data to keep the service secure and working. Analytics is opt-in.

Why we process it (lawful basis)

We rely on the narrowest applicable basis under GDPR Article 6 — typically performance of a contract (providing the service) or your consent (for sharing and optional analytics). We avoid relying on “legitimate interest” as a catch-all.

How long we keep it

Each category of data has a defined retention period, after which it is purged automatically. Data kept indefinitely is only retained where there is a documented legal obligation.

Sharing & subprocessors

Your Professional Record is shared only with the parties you consent to, for as long as you allow. We use a limited set of subprocessors to operate the service — see our published subprocessor list.

Your rights

You can access and export your data, request corrections, withdraw consent, and request erasure (the right to be forgotten). To exercise any right, use the privacy controls in your account settings or email privacy@trasor.ai.

Automated decision-making

Matching uses AI to rank candidates against a role, but a human stays in control of hiring decisions, and rankings are explainable and reviewable. See Trust & security for our responsible-AI approach.
